What we collect
Section32Check does not require an account or email address to use. When you upload a document, the following data is processed:
- The text extracted from your uploaded document
- The document filename you choose to upload
- Standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, request path)
We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other identifying information unless you voluntarily contact us.
How we use your data
- Document text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Structured identifiers (phone numbers, email addresses, tax file numbers, bank account numbers, BSB numbers, Medicare numbers, and driver licence numbers) are redacted before transmission.
- Analysis results are stored in our database for up to 30 days, then permanently deleted.
- Uploaded files are deleted from our servers immediately after text extraction — we do not retain the original document.
- Server logs are retained for security and debugging purposes and are not used for marketing or advertising.
Third-party services
Document text is sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude AI) for analysis. By using this service you acknowledge that document content may be processed outside Australia.
Under Anthropic's standard API terms, prompt and response content may be retained for up to 30 days for trust and safety review, and is never used for model training without explicit permission. Please review Anthropic's data retention policy and Privacy Policy for full details.
We use AWS (Amazon Web Services) for file storage and processing infrastructure, located in the Asia Pacific (Sydney) region.
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you make a payment, you are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. Section32Check does not store your card details — all payment data is handled directly by Stripe.
